Centre for Entrepreneurship
The Centre was established in the year 2007 based on the directives of the Federal Government, that entrepreneurship skills should be mainstreamed into the curricula and programs of institution of higher learning with a view to helping in tackling the scourge of youth unemployment. The entrepreneurship education envisaged, was to be mostly practical and applicable across various disciplines rather than the theoretical approach traditionally used in the management discipline. The main objective of the Centre is to inculcate the spirit of entrepreneurship into all the students, staff and university community through its projects and activities.
The Centre is located at the University main campus, along Airport Road, Abuja
PMB 117, FCT Abuja, Nigeria.
The vision of the Centre is to inculcate the spirit of entrepreneurial skills into the students for self-fulfillment in the society so that they can contribute immensely towards national socio-economic and human development.
Mission Statement To develop entrepreneurial skills that will make students commercially enterprising thereby exposing their business acumen as a catalyst for the social and economic growth in Nigeria.
